In Australia, you can obtain a Mental Health Care Plan by booking an appointment with your GP. During the consultation, the GP will discuss your mental health concerns and, if appropriate, create a plan and refer you to a qualified mental health professional. This plan allows you to access Medicare-subsidised counselling sessions, making support more affordable.
If you have an NDIS plan that is plan-managed, you may be able to access support if therapeutic supports are included in your plan. You can choose your preferred provider and arrange sessions that focus on mental health, wellbeing, and building coping skills. The service provider invoices your plan manager, who pays the cost using your NDIS funding.
Private clients are warmly welcomed into a supportive and confidential space to explore challenges, build resilience, and improve overall wellbeing. Sessions are tailored to your individual needs and may focus on managing stress, anxiety, life transitions, relationships, or personal growth. The aim is to provide a safe, respectful environment where you feel heard and supported while working toward meaningful and positive change.
